About the Webinar

LICONY member companies will provide the vast majority of Paid Family Leave coverage to New Yorkers in 2018. This webinar is open to the public and will focus on what employers need to know to get ready for this new law, which goes into effect January 1, 2018.

Presenters came from the New York State Workers Compensation Board, along with LICONY members who are experts in the field. Topics will included: an overview of the Paid Family Leave law, what employers should do now to ensure compliance, how employee contributions are calculated, the intersection between PFL and FMLA, and Paid Family Leave claim filing best practices.
